What's with the name "Merlin's Tower"?
Well, it all kind of started when a close friend commented (kindly) that I knew an awful lot, about an awful lot of things. That year, for a Christmas present, she presented me with a pewter statuette called 'The Grand Wizard' which now resides close to my PC. Being a great fan of the John Boorman's 1981 Movie Excalibur also contributed to the theme.
Mostly though, the name "Merlin's Tower" is in memory of my very dear,
late cousin Heather, taken well before her time by a cruel illness - she
named the house she built in Wales with her husband Graham, "Merlin's Lair".
I'm sure with her input, this page would have been much, much better.
This is for you Heather, wherever you are now with your zany sense of humour,
in memory of a great friendship which spanned half the world. Chris.
