Arthur is my Step-brother from my Mum's
first marriage. His wife Marian, and boys Ian and Craig live about an hour's
drive from Merlin's domain.

This is my Grandfather Victor French.
Unfortunately, I was far too young to remember him, but I assure you, that
is NOT me on his knee..!

that is almost risque! The place was Rottmest Island, just off the Western
Ausrtralian coast. The year was 1962.

Arthur joined the Sea Cadets and later enlisted
in the Army. Desmond was in the Air Training Corps, but was killed in a
car accident in 1965.
