Welcome to Chris French's Mars page - Imaginary images of the 'Red' planet.

The images you see on this page are only imaginary. They are merely my personal interpretation of the types of landscapes mankind might see when humans land on Mars in the near future. Whilst I have endeavoured to portray the colour of Mars in the various shades of iron oxide similar to the colours revealled by the Pathfinder mission and the salmon-coloured sky written about so frequently in Sci-Fi books about Mars, the image of a water filled crater is purely for fun but suggestive of the tantalising surprises that await us all on the 'red' planet. Enjoy!

Any comments and or suggestions can be sent to: cfrench@starwon.com.au

The images were created during my first few weeks of using Terragen and I strongly recommend anyone to 'have a go' with this wonderful product. I found it an incredibly easy product to learn and use.

Renders on this page produced with Terragen. Panorama produced with PixAround.
