Australian
Breastfeeding Association groups around Australia have created group
projects that help them raise funds to continue promoting and supporting
breastfeeding.
Southern
Lakes Group volunteers produce and sell knitted breasts. They are used by
breastfeeding counsellors, lactation consultants, midwives, breastfeeding
educators and other health professionals. We can use them to
explain/demonstrate positioning and attachment, hand expressing, the
structure of the breast and many other things.
Washable
removable cover, approximately 11 cm base diameter and 11 cm height.
Knitted
by volunteers across Australia.
Variety
of colours - from skin colours to hilarious!!!

Our fund raising from this group project will be used to purchase an
electric breastpump for our group. It will be hired to families within WA.
Money from electric breast pump hire also raises funds for the group and
association.
